32 | LPA observed portable cribs in the infant room that meet Consumer Product Safety Commission safety standards. Mattresses have an appropriate size mattress with a fitted sheet. Cribs were observed to be free of loose items and are individually labeled with children’s names. Sleeping area is physically separated. Per director staff remains in the area to physically supervise infants while they nap. Per director sheets are changed daily. Licensing staff observed a refrigerator in the infant classroom with individually stored formula and bottles labeled for children in care.
LPA observed sleeping cots in Room 2. Per director sheets are sent home at the end of the week to be washed. Sufficient individual storage space for children was observed as cubbies were available to children with their names in each room. First Aid supplies are available and complete. Drinking water was readily available indoors in Sippy cups.
LPA observed the diaper changing tables in each classroom to be at least one inch thick, and within arm’s reach of the sink. A restroom was available for children in room 2 with two additional sinks. The restroom was observed to be clean, safe, sanitary, and operating properly.
Licensing staff observed disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other items that are dangerous to children, were inaccessible to children. Classroom furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All floors are clean and safe. All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins shall have tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. Trash cans used to discard food have tight fitting lids.
At this time, the office is used as an isolation area, a crib and a cot is made available for an ill child to rest and the staff restroom will be used if needed.
Licensing staff observed the valve on the required 2A 10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully charged and was serviced on 09/15/2025, as indicated on service tag. Per State Fire Marshall standards, fire extinguishers shall be serviced annually. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide and smoke detector that meets statutory requirements. Director states there are no weapons, firearms, or bodies of water on the premises.
