Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ashley Calderon and Jeanette Estrada conducted a case management inspection visit regarding an alleged incident that was reported to CCLD on 4/08/24, involving two children.

Date of alleged incident Thursday March 28,2024.
Per Licensee, child #1 (C1) told parent over the weekend of an incident that C1 stated occurred at the facility. Licensee informed LPA's that on 4/7/24 C1 mother spoke to Licensee regarding incident.

Per Licensee It was reported that four children were in the playroom area watching tv, the day that C1 is stating an alleged incident occurred. When LPA's interviewed Licensee, the Licensee stated the child #1 did not seem to act a different way, be sad or did not say anything regarding incident, and incident was not observed by facility staff. Licensee stated checking on the children every 15-20 minutes and informed LPA's they felt as it was an alleged incident and in addition Licensee informed LPA they spoke to Child #2 (C2) parent they stated that C2 expressed they didn't do what C1 stated that occurred to them. Moreover, per Licensee informed LPA's, C1 was coming to the child care home during their school spring break: March 25-29,2024 therefore Child #1 was not present during today's visit 4/26/24 to conduct an interview.

LPA attempt to interview Child #2, licensee stated child's mother did not want any personnel's speaking to child.

Further interviews will be conducted for parents of Child #1 and Child #2 as part of investigation.

Exit interview conducted with Licensee Trin Leeuwen and a notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
