25 | On 01/11/2024, at 8:45 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Required 3 Year inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Angela Li. LPA observed 9 toddlers and 1 infant present at the facility. Operating schedule is from Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
This is a two-story house: 1st floor contains an attached garage, living room, kitchen, bathroom and dining area. 2nd floor contains 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. There are currently 4 adults (Licensee, spouse and 2 adult children) living in the facility.
The day care takes place in living room, dining area, bathroom and front yard.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored in the garage inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher. There are age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires on 03/03/2024.
LPA reviewed children files; files were found to be complete. LPA reviewed staff files; files were found to be complete. Children and staff names were documented on LIC811 (confidential page).
The licensee has completed the online mandated reporter training at www.mandatedreporterca.com, expires on 5/31/2025.
