25 | At 02:15 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type A deficiency cited on 02/22/24 has been cleared. LPA met with Vlasta Baha, Assistant Director who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. There were 05 infants napping during the inspection. The following was observed:
-Assistant director and aide are caring for 5 infants. During nap time, the aide was alone supervising the 05 infants. LPA advised the assistant director that only during nap time an aide can be left alone with 15 children.
-LPA observed children's files have a completed LIC 9224.
-LPA observed the Notice of Site visit was posted in the infant room.
-LPA received the written plan via email on 02/26/24.
LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
LPA cleared deficiency and issued a POC clearance letter.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies being cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
