25 | On February 6, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Rosaura Roa who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA did not observe any children in care. Per licensee there are 3 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30AM to 6:30PM.
This is a single-story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, living room, kitchen, complete fenced in front and rear yard, detached garage. There is a back house located on the premises with a different address. Area's accessible to children in care are the living room, kitchen, bedroom #1, bathroom #1 and front yard. All other areas are made in accessible by locks on the doors. LPA observed napping equipment for children in care in bedroom #1 and living room (mats and cribs). Per licensee there are 3 dogs in the home, but remain in an off limit bedroom during day care hours.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. LPA observed a functioning Smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide and working telephone. LPA observed fire extinguisher to be fully charged and serviced. LPA observed a current roster.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensees First Aid and CPR expires on 10/12/2026.
LPA reviewed children files; files were found to be complete. LPA reviewed staff files; files were found to be complete. Children and staff names were documented on LIC811 (confidential page).
