25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Roxana Lopez conducted an unannounced annual random inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee, Cynthia Carter-Bedoya, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 12 children currently enrolled. There was 1 child present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 2 adults and no children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there are two assistant in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den, kitchen, garage, front yard, side yard, and backyard which is fenced.
Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 1 bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, garage, and side yard. The children have access to den, living room, two bedrooms, one- bathroom, front yard, and back-yard which is fenced and gated.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster, and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist were observed to be posted in the entryway of the home. A current children’s roster was available for review.
