25 | On 6/17/2026, at 8:30AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee / Marieta Tahmazyan, who assisted with the visit. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection. Entrance Checklist – Family Child Care Homes was provided to the Licensee. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. Also present were the Licensee’s assistants, Arevik Arakelyan and Vardanush Nazaryan. There were ten (10) children present at the time of today’s inspection. The Licensee stated that there are currently thirteen (13) children enrolled. The children’s roster was reviewed and found to be current. Per Licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 7AM - 10PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection and the last disaster drill was conducted on 5/5/2026.
This is a single story home consisting of a living room, dining room, three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry area adjacent to the kitchen, a front yard, a side yard located in front of the driveway, a side yard area used for child drop-off and pick-up, a detached converted garage, and a storage area located behind the garage. According to the licensee, parents enter the property through the small side gate and drop off and pick up their children at the entrance to Bedroom 3, which serves as the primary daycare room.
Areas accessible to children include bedroom 3, the half bathroom located within bedroom 3, the side yard that provides access to bedroom 3, the side yard used to escort children to the backyard, and the backyard. The home does not have a fireplace. According to the Licensee, the following areas are designated as off-limits to children: the living room, dining room, bedrooms 1 and 2, the full bathroom, kitchen, laundry area, front yard, storage area located behind the detached converted garage, and the detached converted garage. These off limits areas are made inaccessible through the use of child safety gates and childproof doorknobs/locks.Pg. 1 of 4 |
