25 | On December 10, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Monique Ayala and Joanne Solorio Campos conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPAs were greeted by licensee, Gloria Morales who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. Also present in the home was licensee's assistants who is fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. LPAs observed 13 children in care and licensee states she has 13 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 6PM.
This is a single-story house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, living room, dinning room, kitchen, detached garage used as a playroom, pool, front yard and completely fenced in rear yard. The day care takes place in living room, dining room, bathroom near dinning room, rear playroom and rear yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Playpens and cots were observed for napping.
LPAs observed the facility's swimming pool with a 5 foot mesh gate surrounding the pool. LPAs observed the gate to be self-latching and open away from the pool. LPAs provided licensee with the new pool requirements, AB-2866.
The licensee provides all meals to children in care. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Per licensee, parents also bring snacks/meals for children. Licensee stated she stores the lunch box in the refrigerator if needed. Licensee was reminded that if food is brought from the outside that all food must be labeled and stored properly.
