25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Mooberry conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection on this date. Upon arrival LPA met with Rebecca Kuyper, Licensee, informed of the purpose of inspection and provided form LIC 126, Inspection Entrance Checklist. The Licensee provided tour of facility. LPA inspected rooms/areas on the facility sketch in which child-care services are provided and to which children have access. Per licensee the current hours of care provided are Monday – Friday. There were 4 children present, including 2 infants. Also present was Staff #1, observed providing care to daycare children. All adults present have obtained the required background clearance and are associated to the facility. Individuals residing in the home were discussed and noted.
This is a one-story home which consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, den (Daycare Room), garage, front yard (not fenced) and backyard (fenced).
Areas accessible to children in care include the living room, kitchen, Bedroom 1 (used as walkway to den), den (Daycare Room) and backyard.
Areas off limits to children include 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (inside Bedroom 3), attached garage, dog run (fenced next to yard), The children use the bathroom in the hallway. LPA reminded licensee to make sure items such as shampoo and aerosols are maintained out of reach of children in care.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. The following was observed and reviewed during this inspection:
