25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection due to an incident that occurred on 4/13/24 and was reported to the Department on 4/15/24. LPA met with Director, Betty Castillo to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Ms. Castillo guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Census was taken. There were 7 staff present caring for 57 children. The facility was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
On April 15, 2024, an incident was self reported to the Department by the facility. The facility reported a parent allegation that a child's personal rights were violated while in care.
During the inspection conducted on May 9, 2024, LPA Babcock conducted interviews with the Director, two staff (2), and one (1) child in care. LPA also obtained documentation including but not limited to staff declarations, and notes on the Bright Wheel app.
No deficiencies are being cited at this time.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
