13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Estrada conducted an unannounced complaint inspection at the facility for the purpose of delivering findings for the allegation above. LPA met with Licensee Karina Hernandez and informed her of the reason of the visit. Upon arrival there were 4 children in care.
During the investigation LPA conducted interviews and observations. Interviews conducted did not corroborate the allegation. Per Licensee, her daughter, her mother and herself transport the children. Per Licensee, there was one time that she asked a neighbor to assist her with transportation of children from school because she was injured but it was only one time. Per Licensee, no one that has worked with the children has ever been under the influence of drugs. Parent interviews did not corroborate the allegation and no concerns were mentioned.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
Exit interview conducted with Licensee Karina Hernandez. A copy of the report and a notice of site visit was provided. |
