25 | On 03/21/2025, at 12:30 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shushanik Safaryan conducted an annual random inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Liqing Gao , Licensee to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 11 children currently enrolled. There were 9 children and licensee`s assistant (husband) present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
During this inspection individuals who reside in the home were discussed and notes on Confidential Name List (LIC811) and attached to this report. Per applicant operation hours are Monday to Saturday, 08:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
During this visit, all areas identified that are accessible for children to use were inspected for the safety, comfort, and cleanliness.
This is a one story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, detached garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use one bedroom as play area, living room and backyard fenced. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, garage, and front yard.
All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. The licensee provides food for children in care
At 1:00 pm , Licensee guided LPA to the tour of the home. LPA was toured starting from the living room , where observed 9 children getting ready to nap. Next LPA toured the bathroom and observed cabinets under the sink had a safety latch. LPA did not observe any hazards. Next LPA toured bedroom area and observed children’s toys. LPA observed off limit rooms were locked to prevent children access. LPA observed door to the kitchen closed to prevent children`s from entering. LPA observed required 2A 10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully charged in the bedroom area. Per licensee she did not keep the receipt but will purchase new one and notify LPA. LPA observed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the hallway.
