25 | ANNUAL INSPECTION CONDUCTED IN ARMENIAN Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on 11/19/24. LPA arrived at the facility at 12:00 PM and met with Irina Karapetyan, licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During this inspection licensee’s assistant, Nelli Yenokyan was also present in the home. Per licensee, Irina Karapetyan facility hours are Monday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. LPA provided a copy of Entrance Checklist—Family Child Care Home (LIC126) to licensee.
This is a one-story home located on the first level. The home consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 & 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room (FIREPLACE: which is inaccessible), play room adjacent to the half bathroom, laundry room, patio, front yard, backyard (fenced). Per licensee, parents enter the home through the main entrance door which leads to the living room. There is a guest house in the back yard with different address, 1512 A E. Harvard St., Glendale , CA 91205.
The children use the half bathroom adjacent to the kitchen, kitchen, living room, dining room, 1 bedroom, play room adjacent to the half bathroom, patio, and backyard (fenced). Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and front yard. During this inspection individuals who reside in the home were discussed and notes on Confidential Name List (LIC811) and attached to this report.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. At 12:10 p.m., Licensee took this LPA on a tour of the home. LPA was toured through the interior starting with the living room and dining room (daycare classrooms), LPA observed a sofa, a TV, children’s toys, children tables, and chairs in the living room and dining room. There is a fireplace in the living room which has been blocked off to prevent access. LPA observed 12 children were playing in the living room. Next LPA toured the kitchen and observed child proof safety latches on the cabinets where licensee stores sharp items and cleaning compounds.
