LPA Perry entered the infant outdoor play area. LPA observed 7 infants and 4 staff. LPA Perry observed the playground to be fenced all around. LPA Perry observed the equipment to be in a safe condition, free of sharp, no lose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. LPA Perry observed play equipment to be age appropriate and areas around or under climbing equipment, are cushioned with artificial grass. For adequate shade, LPA Perry observed roof shade structures. LPA observed a trash bin with a lid. For outdoor water drinking, staff bring out water jugs.
LPA Perry entered the toddler outdoor play area. LPA observed 17 children and 6 staff. LPA Perry observed the playground to be fenced all around. LPA Perry observed the equipment to be in a safe condition, free of sharp, no lose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. LPA Perry observed play equipment to be age appropriate, a play structure with manufactures label for ages1.5 years old to 5 years old and areas around or under climbing equipment, are cushioned and have artificial grass. For adequate shade, LPA Perry observed roof shade structures. LPA observed a trash bin with a lid. For outdoor water drinking, staff bring out water jugs.
This program provides breakfast, lunch and p.m. snack. Meals and snacks are prepared onsite. LPA Perry informed Site Supervisor that any food brought from the children's homes, the container shall be labeled with the child's name and properly stored or refrigerated. For water drinking, LPA Perry observed water jugs and cups in the classrooms. LPA Perry observed the food preparation area to be clean and free of litter, rubbish, rodents, and/or any other vermin and storage containers for solid waste, including movable bins with tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects and rodents. Facility uses a food program called IFS.

LPA Perry reviewed the children’s roster, children’s files, staff files, 15-minute sleep logs, and sign in/out sheets and observed 24 signed in signatures.
