Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Susann Sanchez and Joshua Ortega conducted an follow up Unannounced - Complaint Inspection for the purpose of delivering findings. LPA was greeted by administrator Maria Aguado and LPA was provided guided tour of facility. Census was taken.

Staff, children, and parents were interviewed during the investigation process. On 07/22/2024, LPAs did observe serval mosquitos in the facility, however, the facility was clean. Two children interviewed also stated that they observe mosquitos in the facility. Staff interviewed stated that due to heatwaves mosquitos can be hard to address at times. Staff also stated that when children are bit by mosquitos or any other medical issue occurs, staff notifies parents. Witness #2, #3, #4 stated they are not informed when something occurs at the facility due to medical or injury. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Administrator Maria Aguado. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Susann Sanchez conducted an follow up Unannounced - Complaint Inspection for the purpose of delivering findings. LPA was greeted by administrator Maria Aguado and LPA was provided guided tour of facility. Census was taken.
Staff, children, and parents were interviewed during the investigation process. No disclosures were made by everyone interviewed. All staff and children interviewed stated that on hot days, children have the option of playing with the water table and water is dumped out after each use. Witness #1 stated that they have also seen staff dump water out after use. LPAs observed on 06/07/24 and 07/22/24, children playing with clean water and staff was supervising. Although there were no buckets of water observed visit, the facility does use water toys such as tables in their play area. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Administrator Maria Aguado. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
