25 | At 8:45 am Licensing Program Analyst’s (LPA’s) Roxana Lopez and Steven Tung conducted an unannounced required 1 year inspection to the above facility. Licensee, has also submitted a application for increase of capacity. The Fire Department has granted clearance for a maximum capacity of 14 children, fire clearance was received on 3/15/22. A risk assessment was conducted upon entry- appropriate PPE was used. LPA met with Alma Caraveo , Licensee who guided analysts on a tour of the facility. Per Licensee, there are 12 children currently enrolled. A current children’s roster was available for review. There were 6 children present upon arrival- 1 being an infant. Also present during the inspection was Assistant Brian Aguilar and Licensee’s 2 daughters.
The licensee states that 1 adult and 2 children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, they currently have 2 assistants. All adults present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in the licensed child care home.
This is a one story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 restrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, garage front yard (fenced) and backyard (fenced). The children have access to living room, dining room, kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 restroom located next to the bedroom accessible for children, front yard and backyard fenced.
Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and garage. The LPA toured all areas used by children during this visit.
