25 | On March 10, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Alma Caraveo who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPAs observed 10 children in care with licensee and licensee's assistant who is fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. Per licensee there are 14 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5AM to 5:30PM.
This is a single-story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, living room, dinning room, kitchen, detached garage, laundry area and completely fenced in front and rear yard. Area's accessible to children in care are the living room, dinning room, kitchen, bathroom located near the kitchen and front yard. LPA observed napping equipment for children in care in living room (cots/play pens). Per licensee there are 3 dogs and 1 cat in the home, but remain in an off limit area during day care hours. During the inspection, LPA observed a baby walker and bouncy seat in the living room. LPA did not observe the infant inside any of the objects. LPA informed the licensee that the bouncy seat and walker are prohibited items to have in the day care. Licensee removed the items and placed them in an off limit area.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. LPA observed a functioning Smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide and working telephone. LPA observed fire extinguisher to be fully charged and serviced.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensees First Aid and CPR expires on 02/10/2026.
