25 | On 03/11/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Required inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted. Upon arrival LPA Long was greeted by Assistant Jiovondra Cullins. Per Assistant, Licensee is not in the facility due to a doctor's appointment. LPA observed 2 Caregivers and 7 Children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
This is a single story house which contains a living room, kitchen, dining area, den, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an attached garage.
The day care takes place in the living room, den, dining area, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and rear yard.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguishers, and working land line and cellular telephones. Fireplace is securely screened. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the Assistant, small size pet dog is placed in the off limit bedroom inaccessible to children. Outdoor play areas are fenced. Barricades to off limit areas were observed.
LPA reviewed children files; files were found to be complete. LPA reviewed staff files; files were found to be complete. Children and staff names were documented on LIC811 (confidential page).
