25 | REQUIRED- 1 YEAR INSPECTION CONDUCTED IN ARMENIAN Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced required 1- year inspection to the above facility on 03/13/2023. LPA arrived at the facility at 12:15 PM met with Hripsime Gevorgyan, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. A COVID 19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Also present during this inspection, was Karine Hakobyan, Licensee’s Assistant. Per licensee, Hripsime Gevorgyan facility hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. LPA provided a copy of Entrance Checklist—Family Child Care Home (LIC126) to licensee.
This is a one story home located on the first level. The home consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 restrooms, living room (FIREPLACE: which is inaccessible), dining room, kitchen, laundry room, front yard, and side yard (fenced). There are two back houses on the property in the back yard with 410 W. Stocker St. #A and #B, Glendale CA 91202 address. Per licensee, both back houses are legally with different addresses.
The children use the bathroom in the living room, living room, dining room, 1 bedroom adjacent to the living room, and side yard (fenced). Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, front yard, kitchen, laundry room, and entire back yard. Children enter the side yard through the door in the living room which leads to the side yard. Per licensee, parents enter the home through the main entrance door which leads to the living room.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. At 12:30 p.m., Licensee took this LPA on a tour of the home. LPA was toured through the interior starting with the living room and dining room (daycare classrooms), LPA observed children's table, chairs, and toys in the living room and dining room. LPA observed fireplace was coveted to prevent access. LPA observed a safety gate was installed in the dining room to make off-limit areas inaccessible to the children.
