25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 03/20/26 at 12:54 pm. At 12:58 pm, LPA met with Jenny Peralta licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 0 children present in the home. According to the licensee, 04 children are enrolled; however, 3 children are dropped off at school every morning and don’t return to the facility. Per licensee, the 4th child enrolled was absent today. Operation hours are Monday – Friday 04:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m.
This is a two-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, front yard and backyard (fenced). According to the licensee, children use the 1 bedroom (day care room), 1 bathroom, and backyard. Family members residing in the home are 5 adults and 0 minors. According to the licensee, there are 3 dogs on the premises.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the children’s bathroom located inside the day care room. LPA toured the children’s bathroom and observed it in safe and sanitary conditions. LPA then continued the tour in the day care room where LPA observed age-appropriate toys,equipment, and materials for children. According to the licensee, the living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms are off-limits to children. LPA observed off-limit areas are inaccessible to children. LPA observed that the door leading to the second floor and bedrooms is kept closed to make the area inaccessible. The first aid kit was observed to be available.
At 01:00 p.m. smoke and carbon monoxide detector were observed to be operable. The valve on the required 2A10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully and was serviced on 06/19/25, per the attached service tag. Per State Fire Marshall standards, fire extinguishers shall be serviced annually.
