25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type A deficiency cited on 11/3/23 has been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Director, Maribeth Peralta, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Director, guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During this inspection there were 10 children with 4 staff present in the infant room, and 14 children with 3 staff present in the toddler room. The following was observed:
· Director submitted a playground supervision plan, and conducted a teacher training on 11/7/23 to make sure all staff are aware of their specific duties, assignments and responsibilities.
· LPA observed LIC 9224s signed for children in the infant and toddler programs.
· LPA also observed a sun shade canopy has been installed on the toddler outdoor play area.
LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Maribeth Peralta. LPA also issued POC clearance letter during the visit.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Maribeth Peralta.
