Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lilli Babcock and Mariah Aguirre conducted a Case Management-Deficiencies visit on 11/26/24 to address deficiencies revealed during a complaint investigation. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Director, Maribeth Peralta. LPA observed thirty-two (32) children and eight (8) staff present at the facility during this inspection.

On 9/26/24, 11/5/24, and 11/26/24 LPA Babcock visited the infant facility to conduct a complaint inspection for the infant license. Staff interviews conducted during the complaint investigation revealed children from the Toddler Component Classroom have gone to the Infant Classroom at the end of the day on multiple occasions in order to maintain ratio.

During interviews, Staff #1, Staff #2, and Staff #4, and Director stated that children from the Toddler Component Classroom have gone to the Infant Classroom for care at the end of the day on multiple occasions in order to maintain ratio.

Based on staff interviews and records reviewed, the following deficiencies listed on the attached LIC 809D (deficiency page) are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children’s health and safety.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Maribeth Peralta.
