LPA inspected the infant and toddler gates during visits on 11/26/24, 12/9/24, 1/9/25, and 1/29/25 and did not observe any gates to be broken.
Allegation: Playground is in disrepair
According to the allegation, the playground is not fixed well, and children are getting hurt. During interviews conducted, all staff stated they have no knowledge of the playground being in disrepair and if there is an issue with something needing repair the facility fixes or replaces it quickly. All staff stated they have no knowledge of any children getting hurt on the playground because it is not in good repair. LPA inspected the infant and toddler playgrounds during visits on 11/26/24, 12/9/24, 1/9/25, and 1/29/25 and did not observe any part of the playground to be in disrepair.
Allegation: Unqualified staff
According to the allegation, the facility has unqualified teachers and not enough staff. During the visit by LPAs on 11/26/24, all staff files were reviewed, and LPAs confirmed staff were qualified for their positions. During interviews, all staff stated they have not been out of ratio. Director stated, “we make sure we have hired enough staff”. During visits on 11/26/24, 12/9/24, 1/9/25, and 1/29/25, LPA Babcock observed the facility to be in ratio.
Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.
There were no deficiencies cited on the above-mentioned allegation per California Code of Regulations Title 22.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
