13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 08/01/25 at 9:30 AM. LPA was met by licensee, Noreena Trent, who guided analyst on a tour. LPA observed 1 additional adult and 2 children in care. The home was observed to be clean and free of defects. Per licensee, she is currently closed for the day to conduct maintenance on the physcial plant of the facility.
The purpose of this visit is to deliver findings to the above mentioned allegations. During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed records, and made observations. During a previous visit, LPA observed licensee operating within the capacity requirements indicated on the license. Individuals interviewed state that redirection is often used when discpline is required for children in care. Individuals interviewed also state that on occassion, they would need to raise their voice in order to gain the attention of the large group. Individuals interviewed state the time right before lunch is when children in care are most active. Elevated tones maybe used to get the attention of an individual in care over the entire group, but |
