13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jeanette Estrada and Jonnisha Culbert conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. LPAs met with Director Blanca Aponte and informed her of the reason for the visit. LPAs observed a total of 60 children supervised by 8 staff.
During the investigation, interviews were conducted with staff and parents regarding the allegation listed above. Interviews conducted did not corroborate the allegation. Interviews conducted revealed that children are not sent to the restroom unsupervised at any time. Per interviews, a group of children will be taken to the restroom together or an available staff member will be called to assist.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and a copy of the report and appeal rights were provided to the Director Blanca Aponte.
