25 | On 6/25/26, at 9:30AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA met with the Licensee's husband, Harutryun Khachatryan. The Licensee, Karine Petrosyan, joined the visit shortly thereafter and assisted with the inspection. The Licensee stated that she had been attending a doctor's appointment prior to her arrival. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and provided the Entrance Checklist – Family Child Care Homes to the Licensee. The adults residing in the home were discussed, and all have received criminal record clearances. Also present during the inspection was the Licensee's daughter, Elina Khachatryan. There were five (5) children present at the time of today's inspection. The Licensee stated that there are currently twelve (12) children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and found to be current. Per Licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, from 7AM - 11:55PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection and the last disaster drill was conducted on 5/11/26.
This is a single story home consisting of a living room (main daycare room), dining room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room, an attached guest house located in the backyard, a front yard, a side yard, and a patio/backyard. The attached guest house has a separate private entrance and functions as an independent living space however, it shares the backyard, which is used as the children's outdoor play area. According to the Licensee, the property owner's mother-in-law resides in the guest house and has obtained a criminal record clearance. LPA verified this information to be true.
According to the Licensee, parents drop off and pick up their children at the main entrance, which leads into the living room. Areas accessible to children include the living room, dining room, bathroom 2 (located in the hallway near bedrooms 2 and 3), and the backyard. The home includes a fireplace located in the dining room, which is screened with a metal safety gate and further barricaded by the television and TV stand to prevent children's access.
