25 | On January 8, 2026, at 10:27 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) A. Carter conducted an Unannounced Annual Random Inspection and met with Facility Representative (FR), Daisy Ramirez. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility. The facility is currently licensed for a capacity of 33. The program currently operates Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. LPA was taken on a guided tour of the facility both indoors and outdoors. Entrance Checklist provided.
Teacher-child ratios were observed, and staff names recorded. All center staff present during today’s inspection had fingerprint clearance and are associated to the designated license number. Care and supervision were evaluated to determine if the basic needs of children are met and appropriate. The sign-in and out sheets were reviewed. Personal Rights of children were observed by LPA.
At the initial start of the site visit, there is a total census of 15 children, and 3 staff present. The facility is made up of 3 classrooms. Room 1 Imagineers (3-4 year olds): had 10 children with 1 staff member, Room 3 Creators (4-5 year olds): 5 children with 1 staff member, and Room 2 Explorers (2-3 year olds): was empty at time of inspection. All classrooms were inspected for cleanliness and good repair. Each classroom has a cubby/storage area for children’s personal belongings, carpet free from stains, and age-appropriate tables and chairs. LPA observed puzzles, books, and other appropriate toys to be clean and free of hazards at time of inspection. The main first aid kit is mounted on the wall across from the restrooms, and there is small first aid kits kept in each classroom, observed by LPA. First Aid supplies were inventoried and found in compliance with regulation. LPA observed all posting requirements for operation on the posting board and the following documents were observed: LIC 203A-License, LIC 610 A-Emergency Disaster Plan, LIC 9148-Earthquake Preparedness Check List, PUB 394-Notification of parent’s rights poster, LIC 613A- Personal Rights, PUB 269- Child Car Seat Law, Menus, and Activity Schedule.
