25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nolan Tcheng conducted an unannounced annual random inspection to the above facility. At 9:20am, LPA met with licensee, Lilit Serobyan. Also present during this inspection, Licensee’s spouse. The licensee states that they currently has 4 children enrolled. A current children’s roster is available and is current. Licensee’s hours of operation are 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
This is a one-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two kitchens, front room, back living room (day care area), front yard, side yard, and detached Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU). The children use two bedrooms (nap), back living room, bathroom attached to back living room, and driveway/back yard. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: front room, three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, both kitchens, side yard, front yard, and ADU. All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. The licensee provides food for children in care where applicable.
The licensee states that 3 adults and 3 minors currently live in the home. Persons living in the home are identified on the attached LIC811. Licensee states that they currently have one assistant. All individuals present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed home. Per licensee, there are no bodies of water on the premises. LPA reviewed storage of firearm in off limit area of the home, and is in accordance with Title 22. At 9:35am, LPA was led on a tour of the facility by the licensee. Children enrolled are dropped off down the drive way to a side door that leads directly into the day care room. Upon entry in to the home, the back living room (day care room) was reviewed. LPA observed 2 infants present .There are age appropriate toys and equipment present at the facility. Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster and the Facility License are observed to be posted. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and are operable. High chairs were observed to be placed in the corner of the room. Per licensee, high chairs are used for meal time or snack time. There is a kitchen connected to the day care room that has child safety gates to prevent access from children in care. There are first aid supplies available.
