On 04/14/2026 at 1:50 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Susann Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced complaint inspection for the purpose of delivering findings. LPA announced purpose of inspection and was allowed entry to facility by Licensee Angela Araya. At 2:00 PM, LPA toured the facility and observed 10 children, one infant, present with two staff upon arrival along with the Licensee.

The investigation consisted of interviews conducted with Licensee, staff, children and other adults. LPA also reviewed a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Report dated 1/20/26. The department received a complaint alleging the Licensee engaged in an altercation with another adult in the presence of children in care. Based on interviews and documentation obtained, there were no witnesses or additional information that corroborates the above allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted with Licensee Angela Araya.
