This is a preschool program licensed for 26 children. Per the Director there are 20 children enrolled. The program currently operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. Upon arrival, LPA observed 9 children with 1 staff. Teacher-child ratios were observed to be in accordance with Title 22 regulations. All indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. At this time, preschool office or any of the preschool classrooms that are not being used is used as the designated ill isolation area. Parents bring lunch from home. Children have their own personal drinking containers that are labeled with their name. LPA observed water is available for children in care. All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins, have tight fitting covers on and are in good repair. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that are dangerous to children are stored in an area inaccessible to children. Storage areas for poisons are locked. |
