32 | LPA observed the children’s restrooms, (classroom 71 shares a restroom with Classroom 72) to have working toilets, sinks, hand soap dispenser and paper towels. During time of inspection LPA observed cleaning solutions stored in a top cabinet making it inaccessible to the children.
Heating, lighting, and ventilation were evaluated by LPA. LPA observed central AC/heater and vents located on the ceiling. LPA observed the fire extinguishers in the classroom and the valve on the required 2A10BC fire extinguishers indicating fully charged and serviced on 01/22/26. Smoke detectors were observed and were not tested on this visit due to the alarms being hard wired to the system. The carbon monoxide detectors were observed to be operable. The last emergency drill was conducted on 07/13/26. First aid kit supplies are kept inside the classrooms, and LPA observed the kit to be fully equipped.
Licensing staff entered the outdoor play area and observed the playground yard to be fully fenced and the door/gate that leads to the alleyway was observed to be locked making it inaccessible for children to open. The outdoor play equipment was observed to be free of sharp, lose or pointed parts. Outdoor activity space surface is maintained in a safe condition as is free of hazards. Areas around and/or under climbing equipment have cushioning material to absorb a fall. Drinking water is readily available outdoors. There is adequate shade in the play yard.
Per Teacher, the facility provides breakfast, lunch and snack and utilizes the food program IILA and meals get delivered daily. LPA informed licensee that any food brought from the children's homes, the container shall be labeled with the child's name and properly stored or refrigerated. LPA observed the food preparation area to share a laundry area and was observed to be clean and free of litter, rubbish, rodents, and/or any other vermin and storage containers for solid waste, including movable bins with tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects, and rodents.
LPA Solorio-Campos reviewed the children’s roster, children’s files, staff files, and sign in/out sheets. LPA observed the files to be complete.
