25 | On August 2, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by licensee, Mariam Gyumushyan whio guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 5 infants in care. LPA informed licensee that the facility is only allowed a maximum of 4 infants in care, if the facility is only caring for infants. Per licensee, previous LPA Tung informed licensee that 6 infants were allowed if the facility was only caring for infants. LPA Ayala informed licensee that the information that was provided was incorrect. Licensee understood and will inform the families. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5:30PM.
This is a single-story house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, completely fenced rear yard and front yard. LPA observed all cleaning solutions and chemicals to be inaccessible to children in care.
The day care takes place in living room, hallway bathroom, bedroom #1, bedroom #2, front yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Infants nap in bedroom #1 and bedroom #2, LPA reminded licensee that the bedroom doors need to remain open when children are present in the rooms.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 10/02/2023.
