25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to insure that the Technical Violations cited on 5/5/22 have been cleared. Another reason for the visit is to test the whole house alarm system to aid with pool safety. LPA met with Olivia Motta, licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. There were no children present during this inspection. The following was observed:
- At 4:51 pm, LPA observed the pool gate spring has been adjusted so that the gate is self-closing and self-latching.
- Plastic fence barrier has been placed on the grass, to cover the gap between grass and bottom of metal fence. Plastic fencing touches the grass and is secured into the ground and with zip ties on the metal fence around pool.
- Alarm is a whole house alarm on all windows and doors in the entire house. When alarm sounds it also says the name of the window or door that is opened. LPA tested alarms on the windows and doors in the master bedroom and bathroom that lead directly to the pool and they were operable. LPA observed the alarm can be heard from the entire house. Per licensee, the alarm is set at all times. LPA also tested the security alarm which is an additional alarm that licensee sets when they know they will not be going outside. This alarm is a louder alarm that is activated when any door or window is opened.
