25 | On 05/07/24 at 8:15 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shushanik Safaryan conducted an unannounced required 3-year inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee,Monika Khodagulyan, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 4 children currently enrolled. There were 3 children and licensees son were present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 1 adult and 1 minor child currently live in the home. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, office detached garage, laundry room and backyard which is fenced.
Care is provided in the living room, two bedrooms, 1 bathroom , backyard and detached garage used as activity room .Per licensee parents enter the home through the Pickens St gate which leads them directly to the backyard .
Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include Office area , bathroom , kitchen , laundry room.
During this visit, all areas identified that are accessible for children to use were inspected for the safety, comfort, and cleanliness. At 08:15 am Licensee guided LPA to the tour of the home. LPA was toured starting from the back gate where parents enter , which leads to the outdoor play area , next LPA toured detached garage which is used for activities only. Per Facility representative she understands that children cannot sleep or eat in the activity room . Next LPA observed laundry room which was locked . From the backyard children enter through the kitchen under licensees’ supervision to the living room, where LPA observed sofa, small tables , chairs, and TV. LPA observed all the sharp items and cleaning compounds inaccessible to the children in care . Next LPA toured bedrooms in the hallway where children nap and observed mats ,play yards .
