25 | On 4/30/2026, at 9:30AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee / Vardanush Hovhannisyan, who assisted with the visit. LPA disclosed the purpose of the visit. Entrance Checklist – Family Child Care Homes was provided to the Licensee. Licensee guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. Also present was the Licensee’s husband / Vardan Nersisyan. There were five (5) day care children present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently 12 children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Per licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday - Sunday, from 7:30AM - 11:55PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection and the last disaster drill was conducted on 12/26/2025.
This is a single story home which consists of a living room, dining room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, front yard, back yard, drive way (which leads to the back yard), side yard and a detached converted garage. In addition to the Licensee’s home, the property includes a separate dwelling unit in the rear, with its own address and private entrance. The dwelling unit in the rear functions as an independent living space. The address of the rear dwelling is 1016 Virginia Pl, Unit #2, Glendale, CA 91204.
According to the Licensee, parents drop off and pick up their children directly at the main door, which leads to the living room. Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room, dining room, bedroom 1, bathroom 1 (located adjacent to the living room), drive way and back yard. The home has a fireplace that has been screened to prevent access by children. Additionally, the Licensee has barricaded the fireplace with a couch. A door in the living room leads to the hallway, bedrooms 2 and 3, and bathroom 2. Per Licensee, off-limits areas are as follows: Bedrooms 2 and 3, bathroom 2 (located in the hallway), kitchen, front yard, side yard, detached converted garage and the separate dwelling unit located at the rear of the property.
