25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type B deficiency cited on 4/23/24 has been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Director, Christina Gudino, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. There were 8 children with 2 staff present during this inspection. The following was observed:
ยท LPA received a written plan from the Director. The plan is for napping infants in the Ramblers room. The plan states that in the event that one of the Ramblers students falls asleep outside of the class nap period, the aide in the Rovers class or the Director will take the sleeping child to the physically separated napping space in the Rovers classroom. A cot will be set up in the Rovers sleeping area for the child, and bedding will be washed after each use and the cot will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Christina Gudino. LPA also issued POC clearance letter during the visit.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Christina Gudino.
