25 | At 9:30 am Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lilli Babcock and Jessica Hopkins-Hernandez conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPAs met with Licensee, Rosa Mendoza, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 14 children currently enrolled. There were 7 children and 2 assistants present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 1 adult and 3 children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there are 2 assistants working in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, garage converted into a daycare/playroom, front yard, and backyard which is fenced.
Per licensee, areas off-limits to children and parents include 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room. The children have access to living room, dining room, one bathroom, garage converted to daycare/playroom, and backyard which is fenced.
Licensee requested to have front yard move from off-limits to accessible to children. LPAs had licensee sign a declaration that at least 2 adults will be present at all times in the front yard when children are in the front yard as there is no fence around the yard.
