25 | On 7/15/2024 at 10:00 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Carolyn Tuba conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure the deficiency cited on 6/26/2024 during a complaint visit has been corrected. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with staff member and approximately 5 minutes later Assistant Director, Abagail Mauleon made herself available. LPA observed 29 children and 7 staff during this visit.
Assistant Director provided LPA a write-up of what she learned on the training module of Reporting Requirements. Director, Kimberly Nguyen was also present and consulted with LPA that they would like to have Technical Support Program (TSP) contact them to gain further understanding of Title 22 regulations and Personal Rights of children. LPA suggested that the training modules can be useful to present to staff during their monthly meetings. LPA, Assistant Director and Director consulted with regards to the relocation of the children in case of an emergency. LPA informed that the Emergency Disaster Plan needs to be updated, as well as informing parents and updating the Parent Handbook.
LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Assistant Director. LPA also issued POC clearance letter during the visit.
At this time, the facility is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited.
A notice of site visit was given must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Assistant Director, Abagail Mauleon.
