Fire clearance for a capacity of 14 was granted on 10/23/25. LPAs met with Licensee, Evelia Gonzalez, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 8 children currently enrolled. Census was taken and LPAs observed 7 children in care at the time of visit. Adults living in the home were discussed, and all have criminal record clearance.
At 2:50pm, Licensee guided analysts on a tour of the facility. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
This is a one-story single-family home which consists of a living room, dining area, family room, kitchen, garage, front yard, back yard, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Areas off limits include: 3 bedrooms, 2-bathrooms, front yard, living room, kitchen, dining area and garage. Per licensee, off limit areas are also locked during operating hours, LPAs observed doors to be locked. At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. No deficiencies cited.
The capacity increase request for a Large Family Child Care will be submitted for review. Once a capacity increase is issued, the Licensee is required to adhere to the terms and limitations as stated on the license.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
