25 | On 09/09/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mariah Aguirre conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by Licensee Francis Gil Cervantes who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed 9 children in care with the Licensee and Licensee’s assistant. Per Licensee there are currently 11 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 5:00PM. Per Licensee, five adults live in the home.
This is a single-story house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Area's accessible to children in care is the detached studio space used as a daycare space, one bathroom in the studio space, and the backyard of the home. Per Licensee, the entire main house is inaccessible to children in care. Per Licensee, all inaccessible areas of the home are made inaccessible by locked doors, baby gates, and child safety locks. LPA observed two pet dogs bowls. Per licensee, there are two doodle dogs in the home. Per Licensee, both dogs stay in the licensee’s bedroom during daycare hours. The dogs do not go in the main area care is provided. Per Licensee, there is also a pet cat, who does not go around children in care.
LPA observed napping equipment at the time of inspection. Napping equipment provided is cots for children over two. Children under 2, sleep in playpens. Per Licensee, they provide bedding for children in care and licensee washes the bedding every Friday. At the time of inspection LPA observed a current sleep log for all children under the age of 2.
The home is clean, comfortable and well ventilated. Per Licensee, they do not provide meals to children in care, parents provide all meals and snacks for children in care. Per Licensee, the children eat Breakfast, Lunch, and PM Snack. Licensee states they are not apart of a food program. LPA observed a functioning dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the daycare space. LPA observed a working telephone (Licensee’s cellphone). LPA observed a fire extinguisher last services 03/09/2026.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Licensees First Aid and CPR expired on 04/2028. LPA observed all cleaning products to be kept on the top shelf of a book shelf in the daycare room. Per Licensee, the daycare room is cleaned three times a day, once prior to opening, once after lunch, and once at the end of the day.
