25 | On January 12, 2026 at 11:45 am Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Priscilla Ochoa conducted an unannounced annual inspection at the above facility. LPA was greeted by Licensee’s assistant, S1, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. The licensee, Antonia Thornber was not present during the inspection, as licensee is recovering from a recent surgery. During the inspection LPA spoke to licensee over the phone and licensee stated that they will return to their home as of Monday, 01/19/25. The facility will receive a technical violation, as the licensee did not inform the department that they will be out of their home during their surgery recovery. LPA verified that assistants left in change obtained necessary information. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 3 pm. Per S1, there are 11 children enrolled at the facility. LPA observed 6 preschool aged children in care and 2 assistants.
Family members residing in the home is 1 adult who obtains criminal record clearance and one minor child. This is a single-story home which consist of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, detached converted garage that remains locked at all times, basement, laundry area, living room, dining room, kitchen, completely fenced front and back yard.
Off limits to children and parents include detached converted garage, kitchen, laundry room and basement. LPA observed off limit areas made inaccessible to children in care by lock and key and or hook locks.
Areas accessible to children in care are living room, dining room, bedrooms 1, 2 and 3, bathrooms 1 and 2 and backyard.
