25 | Annual Inspection was conducted in Armenian.
On 12/03/24, at 12:00 pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shushanik Safaryan conducted an annual random inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee, Nelli Sarkisyan to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 14 children currently enrolled. There were 5 children and one adult (licensees’ assistant) Naira Ogannisian present upon arrival. Three children came in later . LPA observed total of 8 children during the inspection. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 1 adult and no children currently live in the home. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one story home that consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 restroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, front yard, one detached storage in the backyard and backyard . Per licensee parents enter the home through the main entrance which leads to the living room .Areas accessible to children and parents were inspected as follows: Living room (Day care room) ,one bathroom located in hallway, bedroom used for activitiesand napping ,kitchen, dining room and back yard. Areas off limits include licensee`s bedroom, front yard and storage in the backyard .
During this visit, all areas identified that are accessible for children to use were inspected for the safety, comfort, and cleanliness. At 12:15 pm Licensee guided LPA to the tour of the home. LPA was toured starting from the living room, where LPA observed children’s toys , next LPA toured the dining room where LPA observed sofas, dining table, fish tank inaccessible to the children . Next LPA toured the kitchen and observed child safety latches on the cabinets with cleaning supplies and sharp items . LPA observed child safety gate between dinning room and kitchen. Per licensee, children only enter the kitchen to go to the back yard . Next LPA toured the bathroom in the hallway , where observed child safety latches on the cabinets where licensee keeps personal items .
