25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cynthia Reyes, conducted an unannounced Case Management site Inspection, to ensure the health and safety standards as required by the regulations governing child care centers are met and to go over the waiver request that is needed for the preschool children to share space in their own outdoor play yard. LPA met with Megha Sahni, Director, who took LPA on a tour of the facility indoors and out. Census of children were documented and teacher child ratio were observed to be met. The facility days & hours are Monday-Friday 7 AM-6 PM.
Licensee stated she only takes up to 24 children out on the play yard at one time in two different time schedules. The preschool play ground only allows for 67 children at one time and the facility is licensed for 75 preschool children. LPA advised a waiver is still needed as it was a mis-communication during the initial pre-licensing inspection and approval of the license.
Waiver and all updated documents provided on this date will be submitted and once approved the provisional license will be updated to reflex a regular license and a copy will be sent to the facility and will need to e posted visibly for all to see.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with and given to Director Megha Sahni. Consultation was conducted on this date. |
