32 | backyard inaccessible to the children. Next LPA toured the detached garage and observed a bed, closet and licensee's personal belongings in the detached garage. Per licensee, starting mid- July 2026, she did the changes and children do not have access to the detached garage. Per licensee, children mainly eat either outside and sometimes inside the home in the kitchen, and sleep in the living room and two bedrooms. There are two gates in the backyard, one leads to the Raymond Ave. and one gate leads to the back alley. During this inspection LPA observed inflatable water bouncer on the ground in the backyard. Per licensee, it is for her own children use and not daycare kids. During this inspection 13 children were present in the home, two being licensee's biological children. During this inspection 10 children, 2 being infants were playing outside, two being licensee's biological children, sleeping in the bedroom, and one being 11 years old, licensee's assistant son, in the living room.
Per licensee, she provides food for children in care. Also, some kids bring food from home. Licensee was advised that if food is brought from the children’s homes, all containers must be labeled with child’s name and properly stored or refrigerated. Per Licensee, Arwa Hadi at 10:02 a.m there are no pets, weapons, firearms, pools, spas, hot tubs, fish ponds, or similar bodies of water on the premises.
The licensee was observed to be operating within the licensed capacity and is not exceeding the required limitations during this inspection. During this inspection 13 children were present in the home, 2 being infants, 2 being licensee's biological children sleeping in the bedroom. All adults present have obtained a criminal record clearance on Licensing Information System (LIS). Per licensee, currently she has two assistants. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
The licensee and other personnel have completed training on preventive health practices including Pediatric First Aid and CPR. The licensee's Pediatric First Aid and CPR expires on 05/2028. Licensee, Arwa Alraheli completed required mandated reporter training on 04/02/26. There are first aid supplies available on the premises in the kitchen on the fridge. LPA advised licensee that if a child shows signs of illness he/she/they shall be separated from other children. REPORT CONTINUES ON NEXT PAGE 3 of 5 |
