| At 10:35 a.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type A deficiency cited on 11/09/23 has been cleared. LPA met with Director Sukhjit Athwal who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 36 children present with 8 staff during the inspection. The following was observed:
-According to the Director, parents of the 4 children under 18 months were provided with a “family notice” which states that due to Title 22 regulations, children under 18 months may not attend the facility until they turn 18 months. LPA did not observe any of the 4 children present during today’s inspection. LPA obtained a copy of the “family notice.”
LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations, and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
LPA cleared deficiency and issued a POC clearance letter.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
