25 | At 1:31 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type A deficiency cited on 11/03/23 has been cleared. LPA met with Lead Teacher Carmen Mendez, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Director arrived at 1:41 p.m. and assisted LPA with the rest of the inspection. There were 43 children present with 8 staff during the inspection. The following was observed
-According to the Director, it was a short notice for parents on 11/03/23 to find care for children and allowed children to return to the facility on 11/06/23. Director stated that she will continue to provide care for all 4 children under 18 months and will submit an appeal. Director stated that all four children are present today.
LPA advised the licensee how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
The deficiencies listed on the following pages were observed by the LPA and are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Please see attached LIC 809D for deficiencies that are being cited and need to be cleared to protect the children’s health & safety
LPA Veronica Martinez Garza informed Director, Sukhjit Athwal that this report dated 11/09/23 document(s) (1) Type A citation(s) which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is/are immediate risk(s) to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
