25 | On 9/18/25, at 8:15AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an Unannounced Required - 3 Year inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Licensee, Arpik Hakobyan who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. Also present was, Licensee’s Assistant / Meline Hakobyan. There were 8 day care children present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently 11 children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Per licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 7AM - 10PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection, last disaster drill conducted on 9/15/25.
This is a single story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, a detached converted garage (used for activities), front yard, backyard and side yard. According to the Licensee, parents drop off and pick up their children at the main entrance, which leads to the living room. Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living Room, bedroom 1 (adjacent to the living room), bathroom 1 (located in the hallway), kitchen, side yard, and detached converted garage. The home does not have a fireplace. The side yard has artificial grass with age appropriate toys. Per Licensee, off-limits areas are as follows: Bedrooms 2 and 3, bathroom 2 (which is located inside of bedroom 3), front yard and back yard/patio. The off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by child proof door knobs/locks. The back yard/patio is made inaccessible by a fence, which is kept locked.
All areas identified on the facility sketch as accessible to children were inspected to ensure that they are clean and orderly with ventilation and heating for the safety of the children. There is a working telephone maintained in the home. LPA observed age appropriate toys, free of loose and sharp parts.
