25 | On April 2, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Sandra Thamas who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPAs observed 4 infants in care. Per licensee there are 6 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 6PM. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
This is a two-story house with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, living room, dinning room, family room, kitchen, attached garage, fenced in front and rear yard. Area's accessible to children in care are the living room, dinning room, family room, kitchen, bathroom, attached garage (playroom), front and rear yard (all of the first level). All other areas are made in accessible by baby gates or locked doors (downstairs area). Children do go down the stairs to access rear yard. LPA observed fire place to be in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. LPA observed napping equipment for children in care in living room (playpens and cots).
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. LPA observed a functioning Smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide and working telephone. LPA observed fire extinguisher to be fully charged and serviced. The licensee, does not provide any meals to children in care. Children bring their own lunch/formula/milk and snacks from home
