25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Case Management- Licensee initiated inspection at the above facility on 07/26/24 at 10:30 a.m. LPA met with Director Annel Dominguez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Census was taken.
The facility is requesting to add the kitchen to prepare meals for the preschool program. Meals will be prepared in the kitchen by staff. Director understands that if a cook is hired, a fingerprint clearance is required. Kitchen can be accessed through the outside of the facility next to the facility entrance or through the inside of the facility across from the cocoons class (preschool classroom). LPA toured the kitchen and observed the kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, sink, and plenty of cabinets for storage. The facility currently offers snacks and will be offering lunch. The facility conducted a lead test for the kitchen faucet; however, results are currently pending. Facility will update their snack menu to reflect the lunch menu.
At this time, the facility is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no deficiencies being issued today.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director Annel Dominguez.
