At 01:20 p.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced POC (Plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type B deficiencies cited on 05/01/24 have been cleared. LPA met with Annel Dominguez, Director who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present during this inspection was the licensee/owner Carolina Garzzia. There were 16 children present during the inspection and 4 staff. The following was observed:

-Staff 1 (S1) and S4 completed the required Mandated Reporter Training AB1207.
-Infant sleep log has been implemented for infants under 24 months.
-All staff have a complete LIC 501.
-All staff have a complete LIC 9052.
-S1 and S2 have a complete LIC 503.
-S4 obtained proof of MMR and Tdap.

Pending corrections:
-Lead results and External Water Sampler Self-Certification Form (LIC 9275),Child Care Center Sampling Checklist Form (LIC 9276), and facility sketch.
-S2 qualifications/course description.
-Director's qualifications (director checklist was provided).
During inspection, LPA also discussed with licensee Carolina Garzzia the pending issue with Garzzia FCCH 198009307. LPA Nolan Tcheng conducted a visit on 05/02/24 and informed licensee that she must remain at Garzzia FCCH. Licensee agreed to remain at the FCCH and submitted a written declaration to LPA Tcheng. A follow-up will be conducted by LPA Tcheng for licensee to make a decision.

The following deficiencies were cited in accordance with Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and Health & Safety Codes. Please see 809D for documentation of deficiencies.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
